About Us

The Auburn Hare Gallery was founded by Lucy and Luke - two art lovers with many years’ experience and a shared passion for discovering remarkable works of art.

Based in Wiltshire, England, we source hidden gems from auction houses, estate sales and private collections across Britain and continental Europe, offering a collection focused on original paintings and works on paper, each chosen for its quality, character and individuality.

We have traded on eBay for 18 years, maintaining 100% positive feedback and selling several hundred items during that time. Customers can purchase directly through this website or, if they prefer, through our established eBay shop. Prices on eBay are slightly higher to reflect the additional fees charged by the platform.

Delivery

We have extensive experience shipping paintings safely to collectors around the world. Every work is carefully protected with acid-free paper and securely packed in a sturdy box, clearly marked as fragile. We use tracked, signed-for delivery services throughout, allowing you to follow your purchase from dispatch to delivery with complete peace of mind.
